From raw stone to a London interior.
A completed commission by The Star Murti Museum, the Jaipur workshop behind Alvora. This Udaipur Green Marble console was made in Jaipur and installed in a private London residence. Its photographs trace the stone from the workshop to its setting.

The finished console brings four rounded volumes together as two paired supports beneath an elongated top. The closer workshop view reveals the surface of one component: its curved edges, deep green field and branching rust-and-cream movement.

Can I enquire from the United States?
Yes. Send your city and ZIP code with the piece or project you are considering. Freight, import responsibilities, installation scope and the final destination cost must be confirmed in your quotation; the website does not offer an automatic landed price.
Do I need to choose one of the designs shown?
No. Bring your own concept, mood board or starting point. The visual studies offer inspiration; they are not a stock list. We review each idea for design rights, suitable material and technical feasibility. A reference helps communicate a direction, but is not a promise to reproduce another artist's work.
How long does production take?
Timing is assessed for your selected design, stone, quantity and workshop capacity. Ask for a written production schedule with the quotation. Production, transit, customs clearance and installation are separate stages; a target date is a request, not a confirmed delivery commitment.
Can the material or dimensions change?
Share your preferred scale, stone and finish. Changes are reviewed for feasibility and quoted before production. Natural veining and tone vary from block to block; approve the final stone reference rather than expecting an exact match to a visualisation.
Who handles US freight, duties and delivery?
Your quotation must identify freight charges, insurance, import duties and taxes, and who acts as importer. We also agree whether delivery stops at a receiving warehouse or includes an address, unloading and installation. Do not assume these services are included. Share your ZIP code and any stairs, lift, loading-dock or access restrictions with the brief.
Can I review the stone and packing before ordering?
Ask for the approved stone reference, drawing, sample requirements, net and packed weights, crate dimensions and packing approach. Photographs of the completed London console show workshop capability, not stock availability for every collection image. Inspection, damage reporting and any replacement terms must be written into your quotation.
What happens after I send an idea?
Naman, your Alvora contact, reviews the starting point with you in WhatsApp. The next conversation clarifies design direction, feasibility and the scope needed for a quotation. Any design-development work, samples, fees and revisions must be agreed first; submitting an idea does not place an order or include a free design service.
