01 / The stone

The pattern isalready in the stone.

Green, rust and cream run through the selected marble. Cutting and finishing reveal that character. No two blocks tell quite the same story.

02 / The form

Art and structure,considered together.

The design developed into two supports, each formed from two rounded volumes. The elongated top rests above them, giving the finished piece its quiet balance.

The Alvora films

Stone,in motion.

From a first idea to a place in everyday life. Two short films, with narration and subtitles.

01 / London · Udaipur Green Marble

The London console.

From the client’s sketch to the finished piece. A story of material, proportion and making.

Real workshop records with AI-assisted visual sequences. Narrated in English, with subtitles in the picture.

Read the narration

It began with a client’s sketch. A console imagined for the entrance of their London home.

Together, we chose Udaipur Green marble—for its colour, its character, and the way it belonged in their interior.

But bringing the idea into stone meant developing the design. During our stability review, one central support became two.

In our Jaipur workshop, the forms took shape. The client’s idea evolved through the practical work of making.

As the surfaces were finished, the stone revealed its movement—deep green, threaded with cream and rust.

Then, the finished console, in the home it was imagined for. A client’s sketch, realised in stone.

Bring us your idea. Let’s explore what it could become.

02 / Dining · Hosting · Everyday rituals

The marble Lazy Susan, imagined for breakfast, evenings with friends and the everyday coffee ritual. Custom sizes are considered for your table.

Commissioning a dining table

Your commission begins here

What are you imagining?

Answer five short questions. Your concept sheet builds beside you; render a first picture of the idea, then email it to Naman.

What would you like made?
How should it feel?
How large, roughly?
I know the measurements
Which materials?
Where will it live?
Where should Naman reply?

A first picture of your idea appears in the panel. Render before you send and it travels with your sheet.

Your answers stay in your browser until you press a button. “Email my concept” sends your sheet, and a link to your render if you made one, to Naman through this website. WhatsApp opens a draft with The Star Murti Museum, the workshop behind Alvora. A render sends your description, and any reference image you add, to an image service to produce the picture. This is a conversation, not an order: material, scale, feasibility, design-development scope and any fees are reviewed for each commission. See our privacy notice.
